Hello:
I wanted one of these when they came out, but at $35,000 = out of my price range.
C/L find, PO hit a car, hit a curb, went into a grove of trees. Was being parted out when I called up. Missing already:
-Marauder stuff: gauges, bumpers, floor mats, subwoofer, head unit, center caps, door interior panels, headlight, tailights, 28 mm sway bar
-broken - control arms U/L, fuel pump , R/R window motor, numerous fuses
-bent - hood, bumper, LF fender, LF door
-missing - headrests
clear title so I dragged it home. Fuel pump swap , new fuel pump relay, fixed the bad ECM ground and she fired right up settled into a smooth idle. 130,000+ on the clock.
This will be equal parts: rebuild, hack job, and performance upgrades. 3rd car, only bought it for fun. We'll soon find out how expensive a "cheap" Marauder can become...
It's as cheap as you let it. You do have the whole panther platform to get junkyard parts from, so that helps a lot.
There's a link with picture tutorial in off topic, I'll link it in edit. Picture tutorial
I do like the body differences on the marauder, it's a nice looking ride
