I could make you quite a deal on the original plaid seats from Chico...
While waiting for comments from the weekend crew on the seats, I might as well mention another mod waiting in the wings.
This is another item from my hoard of stashed parts- I could never see a use for it on any of my trail Jeeps, but it is heavy chrome steel, not the flimsy lightweight flat black grill guards that were so common back then. It was too nice to just toss, and now I found something suitable to put it on. The only issue is that it is just a couple inches wide to fit between the inner headlights on Chico. Fortunately, the side plates are bolt on instead of welded. I need to pull one side off and see if I can trim a little bit off of the crossbars in my bandsaw. The Bosch Pilot lights on the bumper will have to go, but they were just placeholders anyway.

Got a bit lucky, and found an old style JY with several Eagles in it. Hoping to snag a few parts for Chico this week...

I have car fantasies about an AWD eagle. Nice work.

Bad news- I had planned to hit the JY today to pull a bunch of parts, not only from the Eagles, but also from several other cars and trucks to help out with my project glut. Unfortunately, I think I finally got the flu that has been going around out here...
I think I missed this thread until recently. How hard was the rear seat swap? Do you have all of the PT GT seats in the car now? Any issues swapping the fronts? I've only sat in one of these cars a few times, many many years ago, and I imagine getting different seats into your car would be a huge improvement.
Cool project.
