I am only 7 hours away and YES! I am interested. I do have a problem though, my job has a no vacation days policy from January to May. I am good for a weekend event for most of the time (excluding mid March to the end of April). I am just trying to give you something to work with. I bet MN is nice in mid to late May. I may even find a tiny wagon to rig up and pull behind the Saab for wagonfest 2015!

I'm in (in general theory) June and July. That's when I'm in Michigan and the drive over would be kind of practical. If you consider buying a wagon, towing it 1400 miles, loading up four kids and a dog and driving over practical.

I remembered that one of the rear interior door handles is flaky. But, I went to the local junkyard and got you a "new" handle. DON'T LET ME FORGET TO BRING IT WHEN WE GET DINNER!!!!!

So, a status update. As of right this very second the plan looks like this. I am flying out on Monday morning. My flight arrives at 12:30, my brother Andrew will be picking me up luxury style in a 2000 Lincoln ls he somehow found with only 63k on it. I shall then be ferried to potomac falls, where I will fill the trunk of Andrews car with the proceeds of me painting a house.... As in failboats wheels. And potentially a severed head. He said he left me a welcome to va, I think its a severed head.

Once I have collected my severed head and rims, I shall make my way to lovely chambersburg PA. There I shall consume many steaks and probably end up at some E36 M3hole bar trying to convince Andrew that fireball should not be in the whiskey section, but rather the sorry excuse for alcohol section. He just turned 21, this may take a while.

Dependent on how the bar goes, Tues will likely be spent sleeping. And eating.Wednesday I meet the man that has helped me start the wagon revolution, whether or not either of us intended to. I mean, this whole thing started because I said "hey sweet, a corolla wagon" on one of sky renders posts like a year and a half ago. Now I own the car, have purchased enkei gravel rally wheels for it, and have somehow been mostly convinced to come out of retirement to set up wagon hos 2015. I shall tell him stories, we shall eat tacos and drink beers. He will probably think I am crazy. But he will also learn why people tend to follow me on my stupid quests...... They wanna see exactly what sort of shenanigans I will attempt. Around here I am somewhat legendary for it.

Thursday will be spent treating Montezuma's revenge, most likely. Friday- I make my journey east down. The i-90 towards Indianapolis. There I shall meet up with swank force one in a gathering of grmers that can only be described as possibly the most dangerous grmer meeting thing this side of the Hong's. Yamaha has threatened a guest appearance with scooty puff sr. And it is possible Mopar man will make it as well. Death is sure to occur to something, probably my liver.

That is where my plan ends. Once I wash the stench of shame and Mazda's off me on Saturday, I really don't know what's going to happen. I am in theory meeting with sbf at some point either Saturday or Sunday to eat a food. I might stay in Chicago with relatives. More than likely I will cram a chow I'm my cake hole and burn straight for home from sbf. There shall be pictures. And so on. And you might even spot me heckling the Amish for beard inferiority. And I will probably pet the E36 M3 out of Mr. Peach, cause I been wanting to pet that cat since sf1 first posted a pic.

Also, allow me to pontificate for a moment on the ineptitude of Craigslist people. I posted an ad for some wheels I have I am trying to get rid of. 250$. In the ad it says there are tires on them but the tires are shot. First guy responds " what size are the tires?" ....it doesn't matter dummy, you won't be using them. Second guy, offers me 150 bucks. OK no. I am not taking a 40% discount for some random shmoe on the internet. I counter with 175... Just to see what happens because I want these things gone. Suddenly, they won't fit his car after all. Is the internet really that hard? And my wife wonders why I hoard things. Easier to do than trying to sell.

You know, I'm not even sure what its doing anymore either. Something that has become readily apparent via this thread, and something many close to me have learned, nothing in my life is mundane. Nothing. I am an introvert by nature almost to the point of being a recluse. However a few things work against me. Without sounding like I'm a snot- I know I'm smart. Not just book. I can learn anything, generally on the first try. YouTube is my jam. I am also a smartass. My mouth is going to get me killed someday, as america and the world moves towards a shoot first screw the questions attitude. I also have no problems improvising on the fly and do my best work with no guidance at all. This combined with my choice of hobbies and a case of ADD that makes psych docs cringe (ever seen someone legitimate play two videogames at the same time?) And I am always into trouble. Hell, its 4am, I'm supposed to be sleeping, and I'm at work.

Also more than that, this thread is about berkeley it levels of fun. I can't deny that this has become larger than me. That's the best part! And why wouldn't I share that with people? If I can inspire someone to take that leap, that's amazing. Plus it fun reading and posting.

Oh and as another aside, I may draft the brain trust into helping me get a 14 year old excursion past the smog monkeys in PA. Apparently it threw a cel or summat, and my dads been off in nc making Kmart look good so he cannot fix it. I'm a better mechanic than his dumbass mechanic son in law (he really is a professional mechanic, but I swear my sister married the dumbest wrench monkey on earth. Told me the first mod to the ms3 should be to "cam it"). IMA get my common sense on and fix the truck.

If it only 14 years old then it should just be a plug in OBDII inspection, yes? Plug something in and ask it what's wrong, it should tell you. OBDII is cool like that.

Ugh. My wife threw an unexpected monkey wrench at me. So did work. Apparently she effed up my budget and we're short exactly the 200$ I had set aside for all the ancillary charges. Aaaand to too it all off, now I get to deal with the court system on behalf of my clients. Apparently some things went down, and a staff (a supervisor no less) did a very unstaffly thing, and I caught wind of it this morning. And if you've ever worked with vulnerable adults, you know what being a mandated reporter is. When you're the first one to hear about it, guess who you are? That's right! You're the reporter! So I don't even get to shut my phone off, because ombudsman. Oh well, at least I have an ides for the hood. I just need some red and white paint markers.....

Had a set of wheels, those are gone. Have another set, may not need to sell. About to post the mother of all hot wheels threads. I have decided I am more about the chase.

Now for fun things. I propose an idea. I like stickers. I like random stickers. I have a really offbeat sense of humor, so self deprication is not above me. I'm very hard to shame, in other words. So, I propose this. I wish you to send me a sticker. Any sticker. (I realize how dangerous this is). The only rule is I cannot cause a commotion with my parenting group. So- republican pride OK, Nazi pride not so much. I shall then place the sticker on the toyolla in a most JDM mocking way. Very angled, so JDM, wow. I shall keep them on the car until it no longer amuses me. (For the record I've had s life.size Jackie Chan face.on the side.of my ms3 for about 3 years). Ready? Go! This idea of yours is great. If I get some time in the near future, I may get our graphic designer to come up with something and do a quick couple of runs on our vinyl printer.
