In reference to my current project, a ‘90 Ramcharger- https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/ch-1-in-which-recon-gets-his-forever-truck/161523/page1/
The factory A518/46rh trans is getting tired, and it will need replaced. Occasionally slips, OD doesn’t work, and I’m pretty much waiting for it to die.
So, the question is this- What all parts do I need to find to do a manual trans swap? I’m tired of the slushbox and want to put in a NP435 or similar. Help me out, please!

NV3500. OD, good 1st gear. Nice to have the 0.73 5th gear as opposed to the 1.00 4th of the NP

OD is not really needed on this one. It’s a trail/dirt road rig, and the morning commute is no faster than 45mph. Trying to make the swap as painless as possible...
You would be best off starting with a parts vehicle.
You need the bellhousing (for a NP 435 that will accept the CPS, or one modified for it), trans with a 4wd adapter to mate up to a round pattern NP/NV style transfer case, trans mount, pedal assembly for a manual trans, linkages, floor mods, and very likely a pair of driveshafts, or modify the lengths of your existing ones. It will be a total PITA to source all of that piecemeal.
