Does anyone know if this project was ever completed?
Zach's had a bunch of life experience since this whole thing started. He's moved...twice? He packed up and spent a year living in a camper as he drove around the US with his family. He's moved from R&T to UTV Rider (or something like that). He's got a kid. He's got a functional first gen Mustang with a V8 that was profiled in Hagerty recently.
I haven't heard anything about the Ugly Horse in years, but I'm not in close contact with him. I'll see what I can find out.
Apparently the Fox body was sold a few years ago. I don't know how far he got, but I'm going to assume the project stalled out after the last published update.
This is from a mutual friend who then forwarded me a picture he'd taken of a non-ugly Ecoboost Fox body from PRI. It may be an easier swap to do today.
