What does adding all that castor angle to the UCA do? Better straight line stability for when you blow past the GRM trap speed record again?

More caster for drags. More camber gain for autocross.

Easier to spot leaks. Also, it makes the car easier to work on in the dark. Lighter paint will reflect more light. Also it looks cool IMHO.
I asked the same question after a cover photo showed a BMW E30 track car interior, white as a polar bear in a snow storm. Leaks and stress cracks.

Didn't know you also built a time machine at some point. That explains how you are able to get so much done.

Oops... Guess I have to fire up the time machine again!

Their cars are just that fast.
In reply to TheV8Kid :
Is the front of that engine behind the rear edge of the upper A-arms? How far behind the stock location is that?

We are planning to move to a single turbo. We will use the twin turbos on something else. Started making exhaust manifolds.
Do you have any fear or evidence of the manifold warping between the last 2 cylinders to the collector while welding? I had planned to keep a scrap head around to bolt them down for doing things similar to what you are.
In reply to Patrick :
Nope. No warping. The grain structure of cast steel will prevent most warping. Also, all of the heat was off the end and not between ports.
The turbo flange that you will see welded on later, warped. We can fix that though.
So, are you running the exhaust from the other side under the front of the motor?
It’s hard to tell in the pics. Looking really good, though!
