Been a while for an update, the brake lines have been done and the petal feels much better no pics though and still need to do the clutch line.
Update to now and another winters worth of collected parts that need installing.
Also need to give a BIG shout out to flynlow for shop use!!
Old stock coils installed just 30k ago, still good but idle was starting to get bad lumpy as well as a power drop from 7-8k so I knew something had to be done.
Half the issue right here, just a thin piece of metal between the keg and the tops of the coils that don't have a heat sink.
Just 30k or so on these plugs, The rotary life.......
New D585 coils installed, fitment was a bit of a pain due to the kit that I got (cheaper version of a popular kit) but I made it work, the drive after is MUCH more responsive as well as a bit more midrange push, would recommend any similar coil kit to anyone who wants to keep their RX8 around for a bit.
