Update: Feel free to find me on facebook under "Del Loose" if you would like to check out more build photos. It's a little late for a build page. I have lurked around on here for awhile and wanted to share a few pictures of my tube chassis car. A couple years ago I was seriously considering building an exocet. So much so that I stopped by the factory in Atlanta while I was on business. I can't say enough about Exomotive and the product that they provide. It's a great group of people and the have a great product with the Exocet. I got to thinking, while I really liked the Exocet, I wasn't 100 percent sold on the way it looked. I thought I would try my hand at designing my own car, with some of my own ideas, but base it on a Miata like the Exocet. So I did that, built my own car. I would say that it turned out reasonably well for my 1st attempt, but it was heavier than I wanted and didn't really look great from every angle. So last winter, I built the chassis you see in the pictures. While it's far from perfect, I feel like I'm heading in the right direction. If you are wondering about building your own chassis, it's not for the faint of heart. Unless you are hell bent on building your own chassis, don't do it, just buy an Exocet from Exomotive. They have it down.
Here is a link to my Drivetribe page that has some build photos.Drivetribe link
