I find Retropower to be unwatchable from a presenter's point of view and non very educational from a content point. But yeah, I like the shape of what they are doing. Nothing so elaborate going to happen here, just going to shove a Honda Civic drivetrain in the rear seat area of the Morris and sent it home.
The truck came back for a visit. It looks great now that I am no longer the caretaker.
The C4 had a governor that was stuck. The transmission shop freed it up and it ran fine for a few miles but them stuck again. The transmission was then rebuilt and a new torque converter installed. Seems to be doing the job. The flathead is certainly no ball of fire, but it trundles along and draws a lot of attention.
