Yeah I didn't have it out to a ton of 'events' but I drove it plenty. I'm in Richfield and stayed pretty close to home with this one.
And that's super neat about the other turbo slant six, I'd love to see it out and about.
Just checking in with everybody who I'm sure is super concerned about this little unit- It's back up and running already!
New owner got it sans turbo and purchased an offy intake and an edelbrock carb. He had me weld a bracket onto a gas pedal for him on Saturday and drove it over later. He seemed super psyched, even had his baby riding shotgun with him! He said it ran really nice with the carb right out of the box, didn't have to muck with it much at all.
Here's the throttle pedal I added some bolts to from the old pedal- the two beads along the side were what I did on Saturday and I thought they turned out pretty.
And here's the new engine bay shot, so shiny!
And off she goes under her own power. New owner is happy, I'm happy, all is well and balanced in the car world. ha ha ha
