I've wanted a Ducati for awhile, but I never expected I would end up with this one. It's been in my neighbors garage and I have bugged him occasionally about letting go of it, now it is in my garage.

That's it. Ducati Brio 100.
My neighbor across the street gave it to her next door neighbor about 15 years ago. It had been sitting for awhile at that point but he got it running and then it sat in his garage. It needs all new cables and the gas tank cleaned out and sealed.
Parts for them are fairly non-existant but from what little info I can find they are basically a copy of a Lambretta J-range with a Ducati two-stroke engine. The cable set for the Lambretta is available so I am going to order it and hope it is close enough to make it work. Luckily everything is there so I hopefully won't have to hunt down any Brio specific parts.
Well that definitely was unexpected. I got nothin. 3 Italian bikes in my garage & never heard of that one.

That is most likely going to be an engine donor for an upcoming project.
Complete Lambretta cable set and fuel petcock ordered. The website says they ship in approximately 7-14 days so I have some time to get back to the CT90 that I have been putting off.
In the meantime I also need to clean out the gas tank and decide what to seal it with. Or call around to some radiator shops and see what they charge to boil it out and seal it.
I can't be the only one here looking at the VFR and scooter next to each other wondering, "what if..."

The trolling possibilities of "check out my new V4 Ducati" are nearly endless!
That's awesome. I never really thought about a scooter until I started working in Portsmouth. They are everywhere around here. And I could see one as being a great way to get from the hotel to the office when I'm here. Hmm...
I'm still waiting on the parts for this so I decided to wash off some of the dirt to see what I am working with for the paint. The fuel petcock is backordered so I am still waiting on an update for that.
