sadly i put the center caps on the new wheels and they make otherwise decent wheels look like crap. i'm going to try and source a sticker for them, or try to make something not lame.
Let me know the diameter and what you might like on them and colors and I can fire something off on the vinyl cutter for you.
What wheels are those? I like them a lot. Most truck rims on the market these days are too "BRO" for me.

It's a paint additive meant to help keep brush strokes out of oil based paint, but it's mainly linseed oil with some other stuff in it. Do a search on "penetrol plastic trim", it's very popular in the Jeep world for use on fender flares. Best part is, it's available at your local LowesDepot.
i'll try that. it's available in my painting supplies tub in the work trailer.

i appreciate that, haven't given it much thought yet. will do.
wheels are vision technology wizard in matte black. they were the most economical wheel i could find that was not all "bro". they are china made, however they appear to be very quality pieces and the finish is excellent. they balanced just fine. vision makes some other nice stuff, i kinda like their tt2 knockoffs.

Nice work!
Eastwood is selling a new "black plastic dye" product, but it's essentially paint so you'll probably need to remove the trim to apply correctly.

It's worked well for me, I just use a rag that I don't mind throwing away when I'm done and wipe it on really, really thin.
hit one of those wonderful cleveland potholes and broke something in the steering. made it home and parked. jacked up this morning, have over an inch of side to side slop in the passenger wheel. looks like the idler arm ate it, going to order everything that moves up front with my advance $25 coupon from buying the calipers. the center link is moving up and down a couple inches before the wheel moves. glad to see the wheel adapters took the full force of that hit and nothing happened to them. gives me a little more confidence in running a 2 piece adapter.
earlier in the year one of those potholes ate my trailer. snapped the leaf spring clean off. potholes suck. cleveland potholes are insane.
