Edit: Any interest at $2500?
I've been stalling listing it on FaceBook or Craigslist for reasons I think we all know.

2007 Honda Odyssey EX

$2500

The long story:
I fixed and readied this about two years ago expressly for family road trips and camping excursions, but my wife just made a grave error and didn't say no to the idea of an EcoBoost Transit. I am out of parking spaces, so the Odyssey is for sale right after a lot of maintenance. My basic strategy with this vehicle was all function and no beauty.

Mechanical:
2007 is the year to have, with the good strong transmission, and the EX is the trim without the problematic and expensive cylinder deactivation, active motor mounts, or hydraulic serpentine belt tensioner.
Lots of recent maintenance, including a timing belt, tensioner, water pump, radiator hoses, coolant, plugs, and serpentine belt less than 1500 miles ago.
Front control arms, tie rods, sway bar endlinks, and a wheel bearing/knuckle within the last 15k.
Good heat and A/C.  Doesn't burn any measurable oil. Some weeping from (probably) valve cover gaskets, possibly a cam seal. Doesn't hit the ground but you can see evidence on the engine. Some underbody corrosion protection from a leaky trans output seal and cooler line (now fixed, and caught early. Fluid never got low)

I have most of the maintenance records from new. A lot of dealer service. Mostly synthetic oil. Transmission fluid was changed regularly.
Drives well; no issues.

Brakes are mushy which matches every other one of these I've driven, as well as reviews from the day.

Mechanical modifications:

Giant 22,500 lb transmission oil cooler
AirLift 1000 helper springs in the rear. Individual, manual pressure adjustment.
Oversized 235/60-R18 V-rated Michelin Premier LTX's on 2011 Chevy Equniox alloys. About as big as you can go without rubbing. A little more ground clearance and lower highway R'sPM, so speedo reads low. 4/32 remaining. No TPMS's, so light is on.
Winter tires: 225/60-R18 Nokian Hakkapellita R2 SUV tires on 2011 Camaro Rallye-style steel wheels with trim rings. 9/32. DOT code is 0812, but they were covered in dark, dry storage. Your call. Still unstoppable in snow. No TPMS's.

Aftermarket remote start that I've tested but never used otherwise.

Interior:
Eight seater. Folding second-row jumpseat stores under the floor.
The interior was very well cleaned when I got it in late 2018. Everything except the headliner and instrument panel came out. Cloth seat covers came off the frames (except the third row) and were put through the washing machine (works great, btw) so relatively few cooties. It's probably time to wash the floor mats again.
No evidence of smoking or pets.

Interior Modifications:
Left front and second rows seats were replaced with leather seats from an EX-L with height-adjustable driver's armrest. So yes, the left side of the van has leather seats, the right has cloth.

Radio swapped with the out of an '08, so now includes a 6-disc MP3 changer and an aux-in.
Standalone rear view camera, set up mostly for rear vision when the back is loaded to the roof (pointed higher than normal, wired to a dash switch rather than reverse gear)

The folding front center console was removed and landfilled. (It was right in the way of where we liked to put our snack box.)

Exterior:

Well, it's ugly. Dents and scratches to varying degrees in almost every panel.

Rust in the typical Honda locations in the rear fenders, as well as on the leading edge of the hood. It has always been in Michigan. I think the fuel door was leaking between the body inner and outer in front of the left rear wheel, resulting in the worst rust spot . Now inelegantly filled with some black POR15 Patch. I halfheartedly used up a couple of pints of old POR15 on the underbody. Mostly because my wife was complaining about it in the fridge. There is rust, no doubt about that.

Power doors both work.

Manual rear hatch was replaced during the previous owner's reign, the only accident repair I can find any evidence of. The hatch was originally red, and had a power liftgate, so there were some unused holes in the back. I inelegantly taped over them with housewrap tape. Struts are strong.

Rear wiper rebuilt, works great.

Includes OEM aero roof rack crossbars.

Exterior Modifications:
Class 3 trailer hitch and 4 pin wiring. Only ever used for bikes.
HIR1 headlight bulbs modified to fit into the existing sockets.
The circuit for the power sliding doors is on a dash switch and can be manually switched off when parked for a long time. The sliding door microswitches are a very common failure on these, leading to a constant 400mA draw and setting the alarm off in the middle of the night. Flipping this switch off solves that, though also disables the keyfob. Also comes with two spare sliding door latches, and two more spare harness/microswitch assemblies. You should be good on this issue for a couple of decades.

Curious rebadge job and stick figure automotive family in the pictures now removed. A normal Odyssey badge can be included.

Other Issues:
Center third row seatbelt was cut when I got it. A good used part to swap in will be included.

Maybe a bit of brake roughness from quarantine-related sitting.

The biggest piece of cargo trim missing in the pictures has now been found and reinstalled.

Windshield has two rock chips, near each other low and on the passenger's side of the wiped area, each about the size of a dime.
A couple of lines of the rear defroster don't work.

Also available separately I suppose: Thule ski box without lock, 4 bike hitch rack.

Asking $2500 including winter wheels/tires. Different accounting available if needed for Challenge purposes.

Located in 48138, between Detroit and Toledo.

Impressive write-up complete with back story and details!

I am intrigued by the Equinox and Camaro wheels.  They look very good.

My dads 06 is same color, but looks way worse; albeit no rust. That’s a excellent price for all the mods!

Let me see how fast I can rustle up $2800. Would you like a kart in trade?

Hmm. It's a bit tempting but I'll pass on the Kart since the only thing more in demand than driveway space is garage space right now.

Now down to $2500 because I'm too lazy (or scared?) to post elsewhere.

Alright I am going to get the wife on board with this. In the near future this thing will be great for hauling my bicycles inside. OR camping inside with bicycles outside on the hitch.
