My mom's first car was the same year Century. I think the two models were identical except for the front fascia.
I had a 74 when I was 18, but always wished it was a 76/77, but the earlier design has grown on me over the years. Mine was a 350 4 barrel. With a bunch of timing advance it would get out of its own way.
