After driving this for the summer I have decided it just is not my kind of car.  Bought in April, non running but basically finished LZ9 swap.  Limited documentation but from what I did get it is a pontiac G6 motor, unknown origin T5 car.  Was taken to bare shell, painted inside and out in 97 Miata Highland Green.  A very dark green, almost black, with a metalflake only visible in direct sunlight.  Body has welded flares, rubber bumpers off and lights flush mounted in the body.  Gas filler is in the fender.  Back to the car.  EFI is an OBD1 with a custom tune, aluminum radiator, complete rewire.  Chassis and engine.  Suspension is much stiffer and seems to have a lot of poly bushings.  Wilwood master and front brakes, rear stock drums with a wilwood proportioning valve.  I think the sway bars are bigger than stock.  Wheels are 15 and 16 with Azenis, needed the sticky to keep the rears from breaking loose.  Still does in first and second if pushed.  All new gages, speedo is GPS.  The swap bits are from Killer B, a NLA company that made a custom CNC aluminum front mount, headers and trans mount.  Aftermarket aluminum fuel tank with flaky gage sender.

Now for some of the issues.  Car was stored outside under a cheap cover for years, paint shows the damage but I think it can be cleaned up.  Some paint damage may need more than a sand/compound.  Rear window on top is gone and the top is off as I would never drive this in the rain.  Something is up with the lifters, they are noisy and have .010 to .015 lash.  Which is wierd because I think they are hydraulic.  Have driven it this way for 1500 miles with no damage or metal in the oil so I think the issue is not a big deal.  Voltmeter reads 15.5V, I think some ground wires need to be looked at.

I am putting it out to the GRM world for $11k.  I intended to spend the winter fixing the stuff then sell in the spring for mid teens.  But maybe someone who wants a sick fast MG would like to buy it now as is.  If a MG with over 250 HP that weighs 2300 pounds appeals to you this is a basically finished project.  I have never said this about a car but it just plain scares me, maybe your scare level is higher than mine!
