That's really cool, and for $10k pretty much a steal if it's not a total rust bucket. For those of us familiar with 81 TA's but not Nissans, what are the specs on that engine and what did it come from?
10k for a real life T/A isn't bad and the RB25DET (at least that's what I think it is) probably makes 100hp more than the 400 while weighing 200lbs less. That's probably why the suspension trim looks a little funny. I'd hit it...
well they did offer a Turbo T/A that year....
Pretty sure that is a KA (the 240 engine) but I too am no expert in Nissans. In my head, the owner LS swapped a 240 and had the engine kicking around so they reverse swapped (gm<=>nissan) (also I know the t/a didn't have an LS but I'm talking spiritually not physically)
Listing has it as a 4 cyl, and a Nissan guy at work says it is a KA24 engine. RB25DET would have been a better choice.
