I've got a mind to go unicorn hunting, plus I blame David S. Wallens for the Warren Mosler interview podcast.
Anyway, given that someone on here tends to know something about something or has the contacts to someone who does, anybody aware of one of these oddball cars for sale?
Sometimes this forum scares me.
First lead popped up within half an hour of my posting.
Thank you, you know who you are.
Mosler were clearing house a year or two ago, a handful of cars were up for sale cheap. Various condition. They have to be around somewhere.
I somehow missed the sale by Rossion, which still bugs me.
One of those cars is on the forum, btw. Maybe it's worth calling them and seeing if they actually did sell all of the Consuliers.
There is also a whole section on consulier's on turbo-mopar.com since many from the Mosler sale ended up with turbo dodge guys.
You could also contact Johnny Spiva, who built consuliergtp.com. I think he's also johnnybquick on here.
Lastly, a friend of mine has a super nice one with a monster 2.2 16v motor that I think he'd sell, but he has major coin in it.
The seller of the one Pat linked to used to post on here. He has a very cool and diverse collection.....too bad he no longer posts here.
This was on BAT yesterday. http://bringatrailer.com/2015/01/13/quick-brick-upgraded-1990-consulier-gtp/

Crap I hate BAT as a buyer and a seller. They drive interest up so I never get a deal and whenever they put on of my cars up without asking I end up getting 100 cars and all anybody wants to do is talk cars and not buy.

I have to wait out an event at work around the end of the month before I can make any larger financial commitments, so after having a look at the current bidding level on the 'bay I have to give that one a miss.

Rock on I am going after it, its already registered in California. It would totally tap me out on car money with the Tbird but I have always wanted one.
Wife talked me out at the last second. I was in for 20-21K but not much more then that, at her request. Going to regret this one day I am certain.
Yes, why? It's a regular 12A or 13B after all.
@greggearhead, thanks for the link, unfortunately it looks like the engine work on my 996 is vacuuming up most of the available car buying funds.
