It's probably a good thing that the FB ap isn't letting me open marketplace links right now.

I noticed that, but the car has Michigan plates and is supposedly located in Brighton, about 20 miles from me, sooo........???

So, I'll enable you.....it's a 70,000 mile ACR with a logbook and a welded in cage that looks pretty nicely done. Would make a good autocross/rallycross/track day/rally car.
5k.
I think my acr is underinsured if that price is fair market!
So glad its no a four door in black....
cars in michigan, seller seems to be iffy about selling it. I had an offer in mind, very spotty returns on messages though
IMO 5k is very optimistic for that car. I'd be lucky to get that for my ITA Neon ACR that has a proper seat, cage, suspension, transponder, current logbook, etc.
I'd be interested in seeing the logbook. With single door bars, the cage is ~15 years out of date. The angled door bars and placement of the through-dash bars are kind of peculiar as well. Not saying either are particularly bad, but I can say that a caged Neon is cramped as it is. I can't see this being that great.
That said, I think this is a pretty fair price depending upon how bad the body is. I sold Challenge car #18 for more last year with less miles but absolutely roached paint due to the PO keeping it outside for years. Obviously there's a premium attached to a Challenge car, but I don't think this guy is totally out there on price if there's no rust or major panel damage.
FWIW, the last time I priced a Neon Koni rebuild it was around $200 ea. parts and labor from Koni NA. That, IMO, is the biggest potential issue with this listing. Anyone who seriously wants to run this car would need to budget in ~$1000 to rebuild all four and throw new strut mounts on.
