Actually, the C4 is a nice base for a Cobra build. The "frame" is easily shortened to whatever wheelbase is needed(within reason) once you get it stripped down that far. Shorten the rails, PPF and driveshaft is all that needs to be done. That might be a very condensed version of what's needed, but the C4 would work in a lot of kit car rebody projects.
90% of people wouldn't know that the wheelbase is way off. Maybe more than 90 but I was trying to be nice.
is the C4 Vin number on the chassis or the firewall or ?
I know early Vettes had one of the Vins under the fiberglass !

I'm imagining a 40s-50s pickup cab mounted on there with a shallow, shortened bed...
I don't see $7400 there. I do like the idea, but there are multiple spots that show such poor execution (how does one fill the brake reservoirs for example) that make me cringe at what's hiding below. This is textbook "the hard part is already done" and 90% of the project is left to go.
