In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
Do it!! This seems like the best way to get into cheap car endurance racing.
For anyone interested, I am familiar with this car. It's no joke, it's a fantastic car!!! I've seen it in Lemons several times.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
I can bring the car to Barber on Jan 15/16 if anyone would like a test drive.

Can you give more info on the Nissan front brakes? Bolt on? Rotor? Force you to the 17 inch wheels?
PM replied to.
The Nissan caliper is a true "bolt on", however, the rotors require a bit of work to fit and add a bit of track width. The OE rotors are "captured" (bolted onto the back of the hub) which required hub removal for replacement. The rotors for the ZX calipers are from a Mazda 4wd minivan and installed in a rotor-over-hub configuration. This requires 2 modifications: 1. The hub outer diameter needs to be milled down a few millimeters to fit inside the rotor hat, and 2. The rotor needs to be re-drilled to a 4-lug pattern ( I have a jig that makes it a 3-minute process with a drill press).
This is a 17" wheel with the setup mounted.
Make sure to get the 30mm calipers rather than the narrower ones. The MPV rotors are over an inch wide.
Here is the set-up from my notes.
Turn Supra hubs outside diameter down to ~143mm
91-92 Nissan Z32 front calipers. 4-piston. Aluminum for 30mm rotors.
These bolt right on with no modification.
92-96 Mazda MPV 4wd front rotors: Centric 121.45044
Drill rotors for 4x114.3 lug pattern

ha, thank you! - revvhappy built a REALLY cool race car. I'm just happy to get to give it a try.
I'm unfortunately not an expert on Hondas, Honda swaps, or Toyota Supra - I'm naturally the next best keeper of this old workhorse :)
I haven't gotten to drive it or poke at it at all with the whole end of the world winter storm and holidays coming on. It'll be at hopefully a few GLTC races this year and maybe some shorter, entry level endurance events.
