Hi all,
The time has come to try something new so I am offering up for sale my 2005 GTO. 44k original miles. To the best of my knowledge the car has never been raced and shows no signs of abuse. In the time I've had it, it's been garaged at home and at work. The car has been my daily driver for the last 3.5 years, covering about 6 miles a day 3 or 4 times a week.
The good:
- Sweet sweet LS2 (6.0L, 400hp, 400ft/lbs)
- T56 6-speed manual
- 44k original miles
- Adult owned and operated
- Midnight Blue Metallic exterior, black leather interior, gray gauge faces
- Good condition (less than 10k) Continental ExtremeContact DW tires on stock wheels
- Updated GM ignition cylinder
- No split seams on seats
- No accidents or repairs
- Most known common GTO issues resolved
You should know:
- Previous owner had "Ram Air" stickers on the hood that damaged the clearcoat. May buff out, not sure
- A few small door and hood dings as befitting a 12 year old car
- Factory original suspension, springs are droopy. Still works fine but I'd upgrade if I were keeping it
- Recent alignment, everything is in spec except caster on the front passenger side. The technician was not aware caster was adjustable with the aftermarket radius rod bushings and was not willing to redo the alignment when told. Car drives straight and camber/toe are good so tire wear will not be an issue.
- Previous owner had color-matched rubber door protectors installed. Driver's side fell off and disappeared. They used some adhesive or something so the paint right at the lip of the door is a little wonky. May buff out, don't know.
- New OEM ignition cylinder could use to be lubricated at some point
- A couple very light scratches on front seats (see pics)
- The aftermarket clutch squeaks if you baby it too much esp. when it's cold out. This is a known issue

The car has new pads on all 4 corners (Delco ceramic), a fresh oil change (Mobil 1), a new Interstate battery, and current inspection and emissions. Everything works (A/C, heat, etc.) as you would expect on a car with this mileage. I believe in FULL disclosure and I have listed each and every issue that the buyer should be aware of.
