Tempting but I need another one like another hole in the head. This time I would add a turbo charged 5 cylinder 20 valve Volvo motor.

I bought this 1971 P1800 E from the estate of a Minnesota gentleman who was just starting a restoration ... when he succumbed to a massive heart attack. There are non-penetrating rust bubbles around the bottom edges of most body panels, the floor panels are rusted through in places, and frame rails are rusted & in need of replacement.
Ima gonna guess the amount of rust is what gave this Gentleman the heart attack.
This looks like a good parts car.

Sorry, I inserted that. Because Stock Sucks.
A B20 is a fine little pushrod engine, but yeah, a P1800 deserves something smoother and more refined IMO.

They weigh about 2600 lbs stock. A nice 200 HP aluminum motor with a proper 5-speed taking 100 lbs off the nose, throw the battery in the trunk, and you'd have a pretty wonderful ride. Stock, the mechanicals can't cash the checks that the body and interior writes. But that's just me.

This is the reason for the wink.
Yep, proper 5 speed & battery in the trunk too 😁

Edit: And I have always wanted to keep the (What If?) all Volvo even if they never deserved it.
Mrs Heretic just said why spend that money on a new car when we could spend the $4000 value of that car on fixing up our 1800. For a fraction of that, I can restore it into a survivor and earn back my 2 page exhibition driving offense record.
Yay, thanks Honey. (I mean, what good is a retirement portfolio if we don't live long enough to use it and enjoy it?)

Now how in the heck did I miss that?
