When I first wanted to get into vintage racing thirty years ago, I went to look at a similar condition 356 that was a former race car. Price? $1500. But parts were expensive, so I bought and raced a Fiat instead. Thirty years later, the total amount I've spent racing makes this current 356 look bargain basement.wink

I always liked the idea of getting an older car in a similar condition to have fun with. Since it's far from perfect, why not add a few not-so-period-correct modifications?
