Rubber bumpers are the ones to have for a v8 swap. They got the changes the factory made when making mgbv8's (motor mounts and firewall revisions, I believe. I have a B but I'm certainly not an expert). Side note, if you see a rubber bumper GT, buy it and make a v8 swapped Sebring replica. Pic to inspire
