Looking for a Mustang, Camaro, Capri, Firebird. Street legal with cage

Not a trailer queen, must run , turn, & Stop

Pretty not a real deciding factor.

Think Silver State Challenge, Fort Stockton , and other Open Road type events

Let’s Go Out In A Blaze of Glory!!!

Thanks

Before I ended up with another miata I found 2 road race prepped Gen 4 Firebird/Camaro's with some sort of cage/rollbar in them for about 7k on there

Wonder if the zip ties holding the roll bar padding are up to date?

Here's another option for you.  I raced with the owner last year (not with this car); he's a good dude.

We saw that ad for the Camaro.

Yes. we personally know Gene, having helped him source several OLD NASCAR Road Course cars during our NASCAR Career.

Appreciate the input and assistance.

I wouldn’t be turned off by the zip ties. The SFI roll cage padding - which is what everyone should use IMHO - is a “u” shape and doesn’t stick to the roll cage very well when bumped against with egress / service / etc. so the zip ties are a mechanical backup to the adhesive.
