+1. i'd love to see him take the car apart and document the drivetrain conversion, maybe even have a fab shop make a small run of swap kits and run an ad in the April 2012 issue!

Thanks. And that Chevy/Ferrari is cool. I actually met Randy (the owner of the car) about 15 years ago when I photographed his two-stroke Saabs for a GRM story. He had recently bought the Ferrari and let me try it out. I know swapped Ferraris aren't for everyone, but the story behind that car is just too cool.

On the New England 1000 article - thanks so much for the photo of Sam Posey's train layout. For anyone who hasn't read it, his book Playing With Trains is a great read, it not only documents Sam's passion for fine-scale modeling, but also gives some great insights to the man himself, and how he is handling his disease (Parkinson's). Sam was a very good (if not great) driver, a true enthusiast, and a man of many talents, and his book is really worth reading. Thanks again for the photo.

I love a little blasphemy. Anyone remember the 288GTO that was the world's fastest Ferrari for some time? Chevy-powered!

Can-Am powered 288 GTO

But they also did it the other way around. Anyone remember the Jerrari? Bill Harrah's Ferrari engined Jeep Wagoneer with modified front body work?
