It’s just a blast because it doesn’t take itself seriously—unlike the usual polished car shows, this one celebrates the weird, the awful, and the hilariously bad decisions people have made with their cars. I went once, and it was way more fun than I expected—everyone’s just there to have a laugh, and the creativity (or lack of it) on display is amazing. You’ll see everything from rust buckets held together with duct tape to bizarre, one-of-a-kind builds that make you wonder what the owner was thinking. It’s all about having fun with cars, no matter how bad they are.

You’re totally right: Lemons is fun.

I have been to a bunch and shown a few times, too. Whether you have a nice example of a crappy car or a crappy example of a nice car, you’ll fit in.

You'll need to log in to post.
