Good lord, I don't even want to know the price, and that light weight... 846kg!!!

Yeah , I visited the shop decades ago and bought some VW parts from him after meeting him at VW Action show ,
He also is the Go To guy if you want to run a long distance rally with a 911 :)
Interesting entry into the corner. The path forward being that dark bit to the left.
Different driver but same approach to an apex. Avec Guns A-blazing

At least the Porsche has the benefit of theoretically getting non aerated oil, being a dry sump system.
Yeah, if I had the funds I'd want something similar. Completely understated and completely over the top at the same time.
I'd call it perfect but those harnesses with those seats are useless and scary.
This is my kind of car, light with a medium amount of power.
I'm sure it costs more than my house, and I live in a really nice neighborhood.
I love how the guy that built it is all low key about everything. Yes, carbon fiber, yes, yes then he's dropping weights 7-8 kg (17#) for the seat? It's insane.
I was so fired up I had to like every post in this thread.
I came up on ACVWs, and was told, due to the perfect primary balance of a boxer, they'd rev until they split the cases. Maybe that's true.
That car is brilliant.

The car is amazing. And very, very bonkers.
I like watching Chris Harris videos and that looks like it's just about the hardest I've ever seen him concentrate in a car. 350 HP is about the same power as a Porsche 907 and 908, I think. while the prototypes would be several hundred pounds lighter, they are also mid-engine.
350 HP and 1,850 pounds is 5.3 pounds per horsepower. The Porsche 906 with fuel injection was 5.8. It's crazy that Tuthill has created a 911 in the range of the early Porsche prototypes. So much wow!
The issue with lightened 911s is weight distribution. The tendency is, as you take more and more weight out of them, the weight distribution moves more and more rearward. I'm very curious how that car corner-weights.
