I'm aware what Borg-Warner hath wrought with the T56, I just don't like all of the weight that came with it vs the T5 derivatives like the TKO. That said, a T56 is good used condition is probably noticeably cheaper than a TKO in similar nick. And I doubt the ratio juggle between top in a TKO and top in a T56 is going to affect miles per gallon that much.

Gotcha, just don't hear many people opting out of a T56 in favor of a T5. I incorrectly assumed it was lack of exposure to the T56 leading to confusion and thinking it was an auto. No insult intended.
