12" tires...

Anyone know who sell Maxxis 12" tires?

Unfortunately Maxxis doesn't sell most of their smaller sized tires in the US. Fire them off an email requesting info on the size you need and you will most likely get the "We have no plans to sell that size in the US" response that I always seem to get.

DOT 205/30-13 and 205/50-12 golf cart tires are cheap but I fear how crappy they are. Awesome sizing though.

Try mini mania and/or 7 enterprises.

I know as of 5 years ago they had them, lolol. That's when I got the ones on my car on there. And I got them locally to me.

Some Mini's came with 12" tires. Older ones came with 10" and later ones came with 13".

Minis that run the 8.4 brake upgrade need 12" wheels, which is why I have them. They are no easier to get than 10" tires. The Mini vendors carry them. MiniSport USA is run by our resident Guido The Clown, he can probably give you a good price, but I doubt he can get that brand. Never seen those in the US.

Fiat 600 and 850 sedans, Fiat 500, autobianchi bianchina, festiva, Honda 600, Geo Metro, Ford Festiva and a few others had 12" wheels.

All first gen Honda Civics (1973-1979) and some models of the 1980 Civic used 12" wheels. My 1979 CVCC has them.

The Goodyears on the front of my grandpa's '48 Allis Chalmers are 12" tubeless tire...

A guy at work had a hard time finding decent 12" tires for his Metro. The last set he bought off ebay only lasted 20 some thousand miles, which for him was only a few months. He upgraded to 13s.

I confess the first thing that came to mind was the original Shadow Can-Am car, but somehow I didn't think that was the reason you were looking for some. Now that I think about it I think that had 10" wheels...

Check gbcars.com. He often has a reasonable selection of Mini-sized tires and good prices. I also have a set of 12" tires on classic Mini Minilites if anyone's interested. They're either Yokohama A038 or Falken street rubber, I forget which. About 10 years old.

The Ford Fiesta sold from 1978-1980 came with 12 inch wheels.

Both Honda N600 and Z600 came with 10s. Back in the day I knew two guys who autocrossed them - back then you could buy cams, headers and konis for them. Lowered on 10 x 6 wheels and slicks they were pretty quick, for the time period.

Back then we commonly used Goodyear trailer tires, 4-ply, in a 20.0 x 8.0 x 10 bias-ply on Hondas and Minis for the street...often on cheap steel 10 x 6 industrial caster wheels. Scary, but cheap.
