OK I feel like a tard because I cant find any info on google about this. I cant even find a pic. The scene in the first transformers movie where she opens the hood and theres about a 2 second shot of the most badass intake setup i've ever seen.

You were looking at the car?
There was a car in that scene?
and i saw something about the engine for that shot being a prop and not real
and this:
"It was the obvious choice. Then GM came to town, so I picked the crappiest-era Camaro. But I didn't want body-color bumpers. It needed to have chrome bumpers."
OUCH slap in the face of 2nd gen guys

Sure, somebody's actually going to pay 30 large for a POS '77Camaro? I did a little work on movie sets. Any car that has been used in a movie is basically worthless. I watched a Cobra replica get totaled in the making of Bad Boys. Director Michael Bay did not want a stunt driver, so the actor drove it- into a wall. It was a 427 with nitrous. Actor wanted to see what the nitrous would do, while on camera.

Yea i remember the engine shot you're talking about and it's not the one posted, it was clearly some prop motor.

Yeah, I distinctly remember her popping the hood and then seeing what was fairly obviously NOT a carbureted motor.
^^^^ Same here. that is one of my favorite gens of Camaro, I know theres some thing wrong with me.
That's a carbed motor.
In it's finest state.
I love the webers and the fenderwell headers but the valvecovers look a bit ghey.

I still can't get over that there was an engine in the car. I didn't notice anything after she opened the hood.

Looks like Webers to me.
Although, it's not unheard of to run fuel injection, but leave the "dead" carburettors in place.

I'll have to do more digging, but it looks like it's done in the style of an Inglese setup w/ sidedraft Webers.
Took at the polished carb tops.
They're DCOE's
You guys are getting WAY too used to fuel injection.
