May be trading my bike for a very nice example of one of these beast. Is there problems I should be aware of with a car like this? Besides having to take out a small loan for spark plugs. Any help would be awesome.

Thats what I have been reading, but there are really mixed reviews. Some LOVE the car and some can't stand it....
budget a million dollars for a tuneup, because plug wires are about $1200
The 750 is one that even BMWphiles run and hide from . . .

Yup . . . For 1500, it probably needs $2K+ worth of repairs . . .

I would say so... There NADA value on the low side is like 4 grand, but I guess people just wont pay it.
I called the owner of the Bmw to tell him that I was not going to trade, because of what I had found through research. His response was " I wish I had done the research before I bought it.".
88 is better than the new ones. The newest 5 and 7 series.. you cannot even replace the battery without getting it recoded from the dealer
