1998 Chevy Lumina as a rallycross car?

I got this when my Mother entered a nursing home...

"XXX as a rallycross car?"

YES!

It does have front wheel drive. I was also thinking of using it as a Gambler 500 car. Is there any way I can get more ground clearance? Or maybe make skidplates for it.

I used to drive a '97 Buick Lesabre, fwd 3800 with Firestone Winter force tires. It was a particularly harsh winter and that car went through everything!

I wouldn't call it agile, but plenty of weight over the drive tires. 

I want to rallycross but I really don't want to take the Miata. 

I mean most anything *can* do it. Might not be fast but will probably be more fun than not rallycrossing as long as you don't care about not being competitive.

Yea FWD rallycross, the car doesnt really matter.

Not really expecting to win. I just want to do it without destroying my other cars.
