The registrations have begun for the UTCC. I will work on publishing the driver list shortly.
I have posted the participant list here: UTCC Participant List
I pray Glenn Bunch's Hemi Challenger is a shop varsity car. That thing tickles the sound barrier on the back straight. If not, I guess I will be installing a much larger rearview mirror and an early warning system in the Viper.
That's great Sean, thank you. There are quite a few invitees who haven't signed up yet. If you're planning on being there and you've gotten your invite, please be sure to register soon so we can anticipate your participation. If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at scott@grassrootsmotorsports.com.

It is indeed Shop Varsity - it's on the list linked above, with Phil Currin driving...
Here it is doing a 1:57 a couple years ago... Glenn says it's faster now.

I'm doing the NASA HPDE the 25th-26th and was going to leave the DC area for VIR after work Friday, but I'd completely missed that the UTCC was the 24th. Hell yeah, I'm gonna be there!
Anyone interested in putting together a team for the arrive-n-drive kart Enduro Friday night? There's one Saturday as well but I think it overlaps the NASA post-Saturday party w/ beer and greasy foods.
The Saturday kart enduro is over full with a waiting list. Plenty of spots left for the Friday night one though:

Schedule coming soon... updated entry list is at the link above in this thread.

I may have spoken too soon, as Glenn really did build the thing in his garage, and although he is quite skilled, technically he is not a pro/shop. See the body of text after clicking on http://www.glennbunch.com/ and scrolling down...
Jury's still out on whether this is a Shop or Independent Study car.
"Starting at 8:30AM Friday, VIR will charge $10 at the gate. Anyone arriving after 8:30am Friday may show their NASA membership card to gain free access. If you have crew arriving after 8:30am, they should name you as the driver and indicate they are a part of your crew to gain free access. The gate staff will have a list of all pre-registered entrants."

And worth every penny. Now I am off to pick up 1,960,000 pennies.
