Nearly a month earlier this year than 2015.
Oh sh!t, the scramble is on!
Yes, between football games, parents' weekend and some other stuff, this is the date that works best.
I was going to start after the new year now I'm a month behind. Oh E36 M3 is right. But cool thing is it's my week with my son so I don't have to convince the ex to trade.
I plan to start in January, but this includes purchasing the car. I wanted to make sure we have time to test.Feeling behind now.
Crap. Have truck. Have motor still at jy. Trans and bellhousing is 3hrs away.... Complete but not assembled, kinda.
I just got unworried as I realized that hell it just did the Challenge two months ago. I could run it as is. But knowing me, I'll rip it all apart and freak out the last two weeks trying to get it back together.
Doh, looks like I'm out again this year
E36 M3!!!!!!!!!
2/3ds of my team will be on another continent. Which means the build we just started will accumulate another year of storage if we finish on track this year......
Jinxed....
Whatever. I'm there. Get the entry ready and I'll send my check
uh-oh, what happened to Oct 21-22?
Yeah, the GRM calendar I just got says 10/21-10/22. If it's the other dates, then External Combustion (or whatever we call ourselves now) is out.
In.
I think we are finally bringing a turbo. (insert blow off valve psst here)
On my way out of work yesterday, I put in for vacation time around that weekend.

You're welcome to join team alavanche, might have 2 cars going
In, this time bring something that runs!
So 9 month's to finish, and I thought a year was enough,LoL it's been apart for two years now.

University of Florida announced parents' day for October 21-22, meaning really inflated hotel room rates. In order to keep the usual rate, we had to move our event.
The new date makes me sad.
In reply to David S. Wallens:
Boo....
Well, there's always 2017. Maybe by then my CSX will be able to compete.
Ask hotel for grassroots motorsports block? Im not getting booked out next time, no procrastinating. Biggest thing is sorting the car and not test driving it the week before the event. I'll procrastinate on car #2 because it might be closer to a $2017 entry at this point since it's sitting in a field and haven't heard back about buying it yet.
Same weekend as Petit Le Mans, ugh... oh well I missed it in 2015 I can miss it in 2016.
Can't miss a challenge especially with minivans in the mix
How about a West Coast version? C'mon- you know you want to do two each year!!
