Can we say "about damn time"?
Honestly I think they should try and bring it in under EVO and STI prices to help pull more people to it.

Only if it makes more money. The game isn't to sell the most cars, it's to make the most money.
Theoretically, it should, since the powertrain is far, far, far from unique. but who knows.
What would really help this is if the AWD Escape/Edge/Explorers were sold in Europe with manuals. That would sove a HUGE cost issue.
Sorry, I bought my Focus in 2001. I have been thru all the "Will we, Won't we" shenanigans with the various Focus models. I'll believe it when I see it in the showroom.
Every 2014 Fiesta ST comes with an order reservation and 20% off coupon for the Focus RS.
At least mine did.
Well once the Explorer is paid off and I get what I want, I know what I will be replacing the Golf with!
As long as it has a "real" AWD system.

That and the Mazdaspeed 6, various Volvos with the turbo fives, more Audis than I care to tally up with the 2.7t engines (and 4.2t but those kinda don't count)

Couldn't you get an S80 with the 4.4L Yamaha/Ford V8 with AWD? I am terrified and in love with that motor.
Yeah, There were plenty of volvo's with the Haldex and either the 2.5L Turbo, 3.0L Turbo, or 4.4L motors.
A lot of Audi's too. BMW you can get the 335ix. There have been a lot of choices out there. I'm really surprised ford didn't do this for the last gen EMEA only model since the Volvo system was a parts bin swap for them.
Okay fair, I'm talking affordable compact sporty cars with a performance leaning I guess. I forgot about MS6. Volvo and Audi entries don't really count, they swing toward the big and luxurious end of things.
