350z comfortable?

So recently found out about Turo since I now I own a vintage car that currently doesn't run. I have an 8 hour trip (only four hours each way) for girlfriends bday through the mountains. Its split up between three days. A 2006 350z is $40 a day, convertible.could be awesome, or was considering a BMW 3 series.

i drove a z the other day. my prolem was there is very little room next to the door and my arm was wedged into the door. it was an 08 hardtop, but it was a nice ride, but i would not want to drive it at lenght. best bet would sit in each car and see which fits better.

A friend occasionally lets me borrow his '03 hardtop. I find it to be very comfortable, especially with the seat heaters on.

It's a forty thousand dollar car, of COURSE it is comfortable.

Okay now I need to watch Gumball Rally again.

Wife and I test drove one a few years ago. Both of us found the seats to be very uncomfortable... YMMV

One thing for sure: Z convertibles have a trunk that will just about fit a computer keyboard if you pack carefully...

I'm not sure about the 350z, but the seats in the first 370z I drove were horrible. Maybe it's just the way my body is shaped, but it was painful to spend more than a 1/2 an hour in that thing. None of the other staffers had a problem with the seats, but for me--- they were a deal-killer.

try to sit in one before taking the leap!

I'm going the opposite of Joe. My 370Z seats were awesome. I would assume the 350 would be similar. I spent 12 hours in the 370 once without an issue. Compared to my now BRZ, they were great. The BRZ leaves me with horrible back pain even after 30 minutes.
