A Friend's Factory V roadster build

I want to put the modular V10 in to one of those so bad. Cheap engines and 300hp and 400ft/lbs of torque right out of the box would make a car that light an absolute monster.

There is a blue one that comes to a lot of the car shows around here, it's absolutely beautiful.

Oh, and it has quad Webers.

Too bad that we're all supposed to despise them around here, because of their prominent roll in getting the new SEMA legislation enacted . . . Factory Five sure puts on a sweet factory tour and produces a wonderful (and affordable) product ! ! ! !

Very nice looking Cobras here, especially the "brushed finish" one.

OOOOooo... I like the 289 version. That would be an excellent place for my 1uz infatuation.

A year or so ago when I toured the FFR facility for the big 818 show, they had a FIA or slab side (I don't know the difference) body upstairs that was commented on, but no details given.

Dave Smith could sell ice to eskimos and have very satisfied customers. (This is a compliment, albiet ever so slightly sideways)

That car is the original "Double Venom" built by Ed "DV" Coombs. He put together a few of them in the early 2000s using a Classic Roadsters chassis and body because they have (actually had, the company is now defunct...again) a stretched wheelbase which allows for the long engine. This particular car was given away in a charity raffle benefiting Cystic Fibrosis in 2004 and has since changed hands a couple of times.

Apparently the slab side looks more like the AC, whereas the FIA has a widebody similar to a 427.
