A good detailing is generally the first thing I do to any car I purchase, project or not.
After purchase, I always do a full detail, and full baseline maintenance all fluids. Then I do modify/track/drive, etc.

Tim, the color on this GTI really "pops" after the detail. I was curious, will there be a future video with/without Tom Prescott discussing how you came to this solution of "respecting the paint"?
