Spent a few hours with the family in the ridiculous heat yesterday at Larz Anderson.
I was hoping mazdax605's microbus would be there, but no dice.
One of the high points was the group of owners giving rides. My daughter got to ride in a Fiat 500, Mini, VW type1 and Trabant.

I remember reading about the oval piston motors.
I wanted to go yesterday, but had prior engagements. I wouldn't be able to show my delica though as it is not a micro bus. This van is actually much larger than you would think. My friend Mike who photographed the Delica a few weeks ago for his website was there yesterday. I look forward to micro car day each year, and wanted to bring my boys, but it didn't happen again this year.

Interesting, I assumed it would be between the Subaru microbus and a VW bus? There was a Japanese mini-firetruck there which I didn't get a picture of; I thought it was a Mitsu (?) which is why I was thinking your van might be there as well.
I don't think the Delica is classified as a mini /kei vehicle. I know it is fairly long (as long or longer than my RX-7) but has a really short wheel base. Also it is very tall and uses a fairly large displacement engine at 2500 cc's. In the land of the giant car known as America it is kind of small, but in the land of the rising sun it is a fairly large vehicle.
I wanted to go to the show, but wasn't planning on entering as I don't think it belongs.
I want to autocross a Honda 600 real bad.
And no, a delica (AKA Space-pig) isn't a mini/kei vehicle... it's just not very big.
I think that's a FIAT Bianchina behind the Goggomobile. Wanted to get one for the wife, but the only one I found was rusted crazy!
In reply to vwcorvette:
I'm pretty sure that's a Nissan Figaro. I'd love to get one for the wife. I want a Pao personally.
In reply to bastomatic:
I do believe you are correct sir!
