Kind of want that for myself. Kind of want that to get cheap $400 cheap and get back on the road. Any money to be made? Are the slave/master a common failure point and does the trans need to be dropped?

With the work it needs, probably not enough juice for the squeeze as a pure flip.

But for a comfortable and sporty cheap DD?  Absolutely!

I would grab that in a heart beat, likely won't be a big money maker but would make a great extra car.

Asking $700. Go see it and offer $450, maybe $500 but be ready to make it go away immediately.

Being a manual trans will make it hard to sell (so few people know how. )  Being a Saab will make it even harder to sell.

However, would make a great daily that you'll likely never loose money on.

Yeah, even in running condition I see those for less than $2k frequently.

But, ecotec plus booooooost!!

I agree with everyone above. Especially with the mis-matched door it'll be tough to get more than $2k for it I think. But for a daily, rock it!

It's also missing the front lip!

You can definitely flip that SAAB. It doesn't seem that difficult

That looks like easy money to me even if you had to get the door painted. You do all the prep sanding and disassembly.  Take to your local body shop and have them do a run and gun on it.  The rest looks like a weekend of wrenching and not allot in parts.  Look up NADA on it and do the math.

Up here anything that will pass inspection is a $1,500 car minumum. Door color would not change that.

I wonder if that is GM paint.  If so getting the door painted should not be that much.  Hell I have painted doors with the duplicor rattle can stuff and then clear coated.  Was an excellent match.  As usual it is all in the prep.  Just be honest about the door when selling,  No harm no foul on that
