I'm changing front shocks on a 2004 saturn vue v6 awd. Its my G/F's dd, and needs shocks and struts all the way round, among other things, anyway.

Has anyone had any problem with this brand of shocks? Or could you recommend a better brand, other then KONI's, lol?

It looks like pep boys sells the same shocks, but says they are monroe shocks? I have no idea if that is good or bad.

Sensa Tracs are indeed made by Monroe, and seem like a good quality OEM replacement. Have them on the front of my Impreza, no complaints thus far. Lifetime warranty to boot

Had them on a car. They were better than the blown OEM units. Parked the car after about 10,000 miles with them. They were still good, but they got pulled and tossed into a pile when I pulled the rest of the suspension off of the car. I figured they weren't worth the hassle of separating from their rusty springs.

The car was a 1988 Honda Accord.

They are a perfectly adequate OEM equivalent shock for boring everyday cars that you can't get KYB GR2s for. If you can get the Monroe Reflex, I like those a little better (I got a set of those for my Dad's '03 CRV for about the same price as the regular Sensatrac -- as popular as the CRV is, there are oddly few shock options. I only found OE and Monroe).

Rockauto.com typically has very good pricing on Monroe shocks if that helps.

I run sensatracs on everything that I don't feel warrants konis or bilsteins. The Napa ones are just rebranded Monroes, when they first offered 'em, they just had a Napa sticker that covered where it said "Monroe" on the box.

Near as I know, the Monroe Reflex is only offered for pickups/SUVs.
