I have found a road about 200 miles from me that is an awesome drive, anybody want to do a cruise day and drive these amazing Ohio roads.

a sample which do not do real justice to the blind turns, off camber bends, rises and drop offs, it is a fun road.
we can do a day or a weekend, I have sourced a great pub for lunch, plenty of cool places to stay.
Who is up for it
As much as I would love to I would need to figure out a place to entertain the wife and kids nearby. What area are we talking about?
Looks like SR 56 here close to me.
If anyone is down for a fun weekend just let me know. I have done drive and dine routes for Mid Ohio Porsche club that I still have turn by turn directions and maps for... I can put you on a 3 hour drive in Hocking County alone that will make you cry and forget Deals where?
Wherever it is... I'm down. Count me in as the hills show me its area the glacier didn't hit so its close to me and I love a drive.
By the way... If its here in SE Ohio I can help find entertainment for wife and kids too.
This place should be one of the premier driving vacation spots in america and right now its just a real well kept secret.
What's a town near/along there? I want to Mapquest it and see what sort of drive it would be for me.
That road is 78 outside McConnelsville, but an even better road is 555 which runs off 78. I ran it in the Town Car and it was entertaining even in the boat, in a stickshift sports car....ohhhh mamma

depending on timing and getting the OK from my mom (lame, I know, but one of the caveats of being a minor...) I might be down for this. about a months notice would be wonderful, and sometime during the summer is better since school wouldn't interfere then, and I could bring the Miata and REALLY have some fun
Watch for the cops on 33 on the Lancaster by-pass. Nelsonville is a cool little town (the movie *Mischief was filmed there), but it is a parking lot at certain times due to the lights.
I believe that C&D use 78 as their "southeastern Ohio test loop".
Grew up just outside cincy and used to take weekend drives out through hocking county. Absolutly wonderful driving roads. Now that I'm down in Knoxville TN I've found I still miss that area even with the abundance of great roads in this area. Have fun, wish I could make it.
Are we up for a Fall run, I am hoping to do some scouting while in the area.
I am hoping for a cruise over the next few weekends, any preferences?
One day or two?
