I've been using it for the past couple of months and like the social / live updates part of it for traffic, accidents, police presence, etc.

I was thinking we need to start a GRM group, even if we are spread out. I was going to do it but thought maybe someone from the mother ship would prefer to be the group owner?
In reply to fastEddie:
I have been using Waze for a few months now. It gets better traffic reports than the local AM news station that completely ignores my route to work. I have no idea how to start a group though.
Yeah, I've been using it for around a year. I like it, but I don't. A few wishes:
1) A road trip/commute setting. Commuting, taking different surface streets doesn't bother me. On road trips, I want to be on the interstate, not some rinky dink highway where the speed limit changes every 2 miles, its saturated with speed traps, traffic lights and the potential savings is 1 minute over the course of a 6 hour trip.
2) I HATE ENTERING ADDRESSES FROM MY PHONE. Let me create/manage my bookmarked addresses from a computer connected to the web please!
3) Turn off the berkeleying candy/level ups/points/etc. Its not a game. I'm driving. Its distracting.
I've used it for a few months now. Its good. It could be great but it seems like it needs work.
I'm stuck with a Blackberry (work), installed Waze about a month ago, and have only used it three times. For the Blackberry and it's tiny screen, Google maps blows it out of the water with its simplicity.
I use it on my commute all the time. Best traffic info available.
I have been using WAZE for quite some time now and for the most part, feel like I am the only person on the highways. In Houston, there are a ton of people indicated online, but the cops move so often, I already know their hiding spots... so its ineffective there. Its only when people use the app is it worth using at all.
I would be for having a OLOA Group so that we can share updates while driving this year.
+100 on the live traffic info, and ability to report said info. I use it all the time.
I think this has the potential to be very disruptive, in a positive way, as evidenced by Apple's purported interest.
One peeve of mine is the inability to turn off red light camera alerts on my regular commute, I already have them memorized.
I tried it for a few weeks, and then my two month old iPhone completely crashed while running it. Absolutely nothing would revive the phone, and they had to replace it.
I'm not saying that Waze killed my phone. I'm saying that it was the active app when it died. Still, I haven't used it since.

I have a 4S now and it works ok. When I had a 4, it would crash constantly

I use it. I like it for trips and such. I don't like how it zooms out too much when you get going. Other than that, the crowd sourcing is a fantastic feature.
I don't use it for navigation, my Garmin handles that. I just use it for the traffic info. The police info doesn't seem to be as reliable, but between it, my Escort, and the fact that I just don't speed that much anymore, I should be covered.
No crashes that I can remember. I'm using the Android version on an HTC Rezound. It will suck up your battery, though, since it uses the phone's GPS. I keep mine in a cradle on the dash that's plugged into my Sync port, so it stays charged.
