I found a decent deal on a set of Sparco Evo 2's. I'm thinking about putting in a street car. Does anybody here have one in their daily driver? I'm trying to decide if I'd hate it on the street.

Best race seat I've had but zero adjustments might be a little hardcore for more than an occasional driver. I don't think I'd want it on a cross country trip.

I went with Cobra Suzuka Pros as the Sparco Evos sort of pinch me on the front lower outside thighs. In any event, as awesome as fixed back race seats are on track, they sort of blow for getting in and out and particularly long highway miles. I was in hideous traffic on the way to VIR from DC last summer and was strapped in for the better part of 7 hours. The last couple were pretty unpleasant. Bear in mind my car has 6 point harnesses - no 3 points anymore.

If the car sees most of it's street miles to and from events go for it. Otherwise I'd see if you can try before you buy.

I feel like as far as fixed-back seats go, they wouldn't be too bad. They're fairly comfortable, and don't have insanely high side bolsters.

I've got one in my Camaro. I've driven six hours in it to races, and had no complaints.

I had a Pro 2000 in my daughter's Miata and it was much more comfortable than the Momos that replaced it. 3-4 hour drive was no biggie.
