I'm not understanding this at all. I feel like I'm missing something.

Strategically located to hide the suspect drivers side window.

failed to mention the dent that is the cause of the broken window and hidden by the tree.

photo was taken before the tree fell on the car. Now it is part of the car, hence the inclusion.

30 mpg without 5th gear...? Somehow, I doubt it.

When the advert said "you can't beat it," it meant, "you can't beat it with a 99 foot pole because it's parked 100 feet away"

I think the car is actually the tan one at the far right of the picture. You guys are looking at another car in the background.

You just don't understand who the photographer was.

I've got 5 kids, and I've seen lots of pics like this taken from a 4 year old's perspective. Usually they are diagonal, and include unusual perspectives of big people's kneecaps.

There was one on the local c-list recently, I don't remember what the car was, but the 2-pics in the ad were horrible. One was taken at night & was so dark you could only make out a vague outline of a car, and the other was a pic of a motorcycle that you could happen to see the bumper of the car behind it.

Does anyone know how often the "5th gear pop-out" happens on non-se-r b13 sentras? Or is it pretty safe to safe that this is an se-r and it needs new hard parts?

They all do it. I think they fixed the transmissions in the later ones though, but i dont remember if it was 94 (last yeat of the b13) or 95. My mom had one (a ga16 one), and by 175k miles the 5th gear was fubar. It was replaced by a shop and lasted until 330k miles with no problem. By then the 3rd gear was making a really nasty noise, and i was going to try to swap in a b14 transmission, but the car got totaled.

yep. 94 was the last b13. I had an automatic 91. The only issues I had was the motor mounts and door hinges. Towards the end I think the coolant sensor started going bad. I had a second car so I got rid of it. And of course I regretted it later. Thanks for the info. I have emailed ther seller to try and find out if it is an se-r, but so far he's been of no help.

My brother, who lives in Cary, has a complete SE-R drivetrain laying around...

I've been brainstorming what to put it in but I think he's sell it.
