I am looking for an enclosed trailer and Big Tex in Norfolk VA has a trailer that fits my requirement and within my price range, I will call them tomorrow and try to feel them out, I just don't want the drive four hours and find out it's nothing more than a bait and switch game.

Thanks, Paul B

Big Tex is a national chain/brand.

They sell stuff. Of course expect a bait and switch. Or at least expect an upsell. I can't even buy a hamburger without being asked if I "want cheese on that hamburger". NOOOOOO, because then it would be a cheeseburger.

If I understand it properly the Norfolk location is just like a Mazda dealer in Norfolk. They are independently owned dealerships. But you can have them build and deliver one to a dealer next to you. They will try to deter you AS MUCH AS THEY CAN!!! I ended up having to just call BIG TEX and let them pressure the dealer to get me what I wanted it turned out a dealer just a little further from me had what I wanted. I was buying a $2200 trailer so you probably have more leverage with the enclosed model.

In reply to Donebrokeit:

Sorry don't know about this particular location just thinking that you don't have to deal with them if a dealer is nearby.

I am sure they will try and up-sell me something as I am there to buy something that part I am not concerned about, as for the local dealer they are $2K more than the listed price in VA.

Thanks, Paul
