I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel regarding submissions for our Pit Bike bit in the magazine. So, anyone have a cool pit vehicle--dirt bike, scooter, golf cart, BMX bike, moped, etc., etc.?
If so, share it with me and you might well wind up in the magazine.
How to proceed:
Step 1: Send the details to me via e-mail: david@grassrootsmotorsports.com. (Posting them as a reply to this message does not count.)
Step 2: Include one or two high-resolution photos. Our minimum spec is 1280x960 pixels, but I'd rather they be bigger than that.
Step 3: Profit.
Thanks.
We've got a hella sweet pit transport for our LeMons racing. I'll reach out to our team captain to have him send details.

I think I might now try to make a pit bike. No real reason for it other than to get in the mag, and why not?
Mine is a UniVega Alpina BT-500 mountain bike from circa 1999 in blinding yellow and black camo.
I think it's way cool, but not exactly what you might be looking for.
Mine comes with the opportunity for redneck juvenile hoonage. Ill send an email
No, but I want to bring something to the Challenge this year. I am getting sick of running from the pits to the track every 5 minutes.
I really shouldn't be browsing craigslist for pocket bikes... Thanks a LOT, DSW.

That's why I love this place, my weird E36 M3 is considered perfect.
JG said "that rules" while Sarah gave it a "WTF?"
That's pretty much a win around here.
This thread is useless without a subscription ;)
IS Mr DILYSI's "bike" submitted?

Wasn't Sarah the one who authored the Wartburg article? She should be used to my weirdness by now.
I always go for the WTF, so I'm happy :)

I've since added two more runners to the group, since this pic was taken:

Yes, she was, and it was amusing
I was all excited to show my 1965 Honda Sport 65. Then this happened.

Though it was pictures of the patina/plaid C110 back there that convinced me to go for it.
