Fellow GRMer's, do any of you know anything about a website called, "spockf.top"? I was looking for a specific helmet and they came up on the search. They have stupid cheap prices on some stuff. G-Force, RaceQuip, and Pyrotect SA2015 helmets for $99.00.m I know the SA2020's are out but for guys looking to get started or who don't run much, that's a good price. SFI rated fire suits for less than $100, some way less. The site is kind of hard to navigate with a general search, but if you look around a bit you can find stuff. Car parts seem cheap also. My concern is, I can't find any reviews on them and I have trust issues. A hundred bucks is cheap for a helmet but not if you never get it or your info gets stolen. Any help?
I would run, don't walk, away from this one. The domain name was created on 11/5/2020 and I have been unable to find much else on it. The ".top" domain extension originated in China and has been associated with all kinds of malware and other nasty stuff. It is possible the site is legit, but I personally would not trust it.
If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

While doing research on some parts a few months ago I saw a listing for one of the parts at a really good price on a site that looked like an online version of one of those discount/liquidation stores.
So I checked it out and found Some really good deals on what appeared to be really random parts and accessories. I was immediately suspicious so I did a bit of googling and found some forum posts from people that ordered parts and never received them. I also found some info on who owned the site, googled his name, and found out where he was from and that he’d been previously charged with fraud. I was going to post the whole thing here but when I went to do it the site was gone and my story wasn’t interesting anymore
If gut feeling says it's iffy, listen to your gut.
Thanks to everyone, I guess I knew it was a little sketchy, but for the prices,I was hoping someone had something good to say about them.
Yourself, thanks for the info on the China thing. I will remember that.
Floating Doc, I've seen several of your post, I guess our paths just have never crossed. Thanks for looking out for the site.
