Yes, 4.3 miles. Not 4.3k or 43k--4.3.

Seems worth the $22k he's asking (in terms of future investment potential) While not an heirloom, it certainly is an interesting unearthing.
Why am I not surprized that it is in NJ? Did you see the link about Guido beach?NJ residents Do I need to spell out what IROC is the acronim for?. BTW I am originaly from NJ, but from a minority population.

As an Italian from RI, I'm well aware of what it stands for.
Frequenters of bringatrailer.com see that survivor cars tend to fetch decent money.
I'm more worried about you spelling out "acronym" and "originally", though.

Why did he never drive them??? That's a pretty big amount of money to just shelve and do nothing with.
I'd think he'd be sitting on a decent little investment as well. I'm guessing there are plenty of Camaro guys out there who would pay a good amount for a brand spankin' new '79.

Sez in the description that he didn't even want to disturb the dust (or something like that).
I'd think that giving it a quickie wash/wax might help his cause, though.

yeah, the build sheet is in one piece. Car looks clean inside no doubt.. but not worth $22,000.

That's why I bought a black Monte, I'm not Italian, but I had good enough hair to fit in with the Guidos.
I guess someone has to preserve an example or two for posterity, just seems a shame to have any performance car just sit there like a rock... i couldnt do it.. i drive the snot out of my cars for as long as i can, then i usually give away whats left.. but they die happy..
